Sadly, it is my conclusion that perhaps the Zionists have gone too far, can’t see for themselves any possible way out of the corner into which they have painted themselves. We all must ensure that regardless of the atrocities that have occurred, the Zionists still can see a way forward with ‘honour’ and one which will not reflect too badly on them and their leaders.
I fear that they may see such an obstacle as insurmountable. They must be told this is not the case.

The presentation on YouTube was quite thought-provoking. As a social justice advocate and a Catholic Christian, I have long considered Israel the absolute home of Judaism. The Jews are, after all, God’s chosen people. We often discuss this in the Bible Study I facilitate. Miko Peled has presented a true alternate focus. Miko Peled is to be much admired for telling the truth about so many misconceptions — I am a teacher and a student of Middle East History, esp. Palestine/Israel.
Modern Israel is not the religious kingdom established by God in the Bible, but rather a modern secular state, not lauded by religious orthodox Jews, which was man-made with so much terrorism and killing of Palestinians since at least the 1920s. Both sides have committed crimes against humanity and must admit that, seek reconciliation and compromise, and establish peace, under God, with liberty and justice for all. I am with the many who support a one-state solution, as happened in South Africa.

I am watching TV live on the 50th memorial of tearing down the Berlin Wall… What just makes me so sad and actually sick to my stomach is the hypocracy of all the speeches that are given. Of course it has been a great tragedy and we are all grateful that the Wall has come down. But hearing them talk about freedom and humanity .. while another Wall exists in West Bank… how more hypocritical can we get?
